Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Northern Territory to help them find an experienced Public Health Nurse / Kidney Care Coordinator to support the implementation of the Territory Kidney Care project across the Katherine region. About this role: Living in Katherine in the Northern Territory you will work in partnership with local health services and Aboriginal health organisations to improve kidney health outcomes for communities across the Katherine region through patient education, data driven care coordination and population health strategies. Responsibilities may include: Support TKC (Territory Kidney Care) implementation across the Katherine region. Work directly with clinical teams to train and support staff, build TKC knowledge and improve integration. Facilitate continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes and reporting to ensure program impact and clinical efficiency. Promote culturally appropriate communication and engagement with Aboriginal health workers and communities. Conduct quarterly regional visits to provide on-site support, coaching and technical assistance. Integrate TKC use into staff induction and training programs. Provide monthly reports and updates to service CEOs and the Menzies TKC project team. Identify local needs and barriers to implementation and collaborate with partners to develop tailored solutions. To be considered you must have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (or relevant clinical qualification) Demonstrated experience in chronic / kidney disease management & education Proven experience supporting program rollout, CQI processes or clinical training Experience working with remote Indigenous communities is ideal Demonstrated cultural capability and understanding Full driver's license Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship) To find out more about this position please call 02 9188 3989 or email your cv to contact@curis.com.au and a consultant will be in touch within 24 hours.
